FAQs
You’ve got questions + We’ve got answers
Do we need to pay for a "studio manager"
No – you don’t. We don’t charge for a studio manager fee.
Can I rent the studio for a half-day?
We only offer full day rental rates (for up to 10 hours, 8am – 6pm), even if you’re only using the space for a partial day.
What if I want to start earlier than 8am, or end after 6pm?
Overtime rates will be applied for hours beyond 8am – 6pm. Your account manager can provide a quote based on your anticipated schedule.
Is the studio fully sound-proof?
The studio has specialized acoustic treatments on the non-CYC wall and ceiling, however the building envelope is not fully sound isolated. If a loud vehicle, thunderstorm, or noisy neighbor passes by – you may hear some noise from outside. Our HVAC system is also noisy, we recommend pre-heating or cooling the stage, and then switching off the thermostat during recording.
What does "shared access" to kitchen and bathrooms mean?
Triad Studio Boston shares space in our shop, collaboration zone, private offices, kitchen, and bathrooms with our parent company ECAST Productions. If you book the studio-only option, you will have unrestricted access to the studio – but you should expect that some staff members from ECAST may be on the premises, and using the other spaces listed above. If you require exclusive access to the entire premises, then you should consider our “Full Space Buyout” option.
Do you have other studios / locations?
Yes we do! For New York based clients we have a photography studio conveniently located in New Haven CT. We also partner with Peerspace to help clients find the perfect venue for their project.
